New Dates for Option Ultrasound™ Regional Information Meetings

Welcome to Focus on the Family's Option Ultrasound™ Program! Changes have been implemented to the Regional Information Meetings that we want you to be aware of.

The Option Ultrasound Program has received excellent feedback from you, and changes have been made to the Regional Information Meetings (RIMs) that will better serve your needs by providing more specific training in key areas.

The most significant change is that your OUP Application Form must be completed and submitted prior to attending a RIM, and that you must meet eligibility requirements as listed below. Please review the following Classification criteria, as well as meeting dates, in order to schedule your center's attendance at a RIM. An OUP Representative will also help your center determine the best timing for attendance.

As a reminder, the Executive Director/CEO and one Board member should atend.

Class I Centers are eligible and recommended to attend a RIM as soon as possible.
Class II Center's eligibility will be determined as you communicate with OUP representatives.
Class III Centers are not yet eligible for RIM attendance.

If you have any questions, please email Robyn Chambers, Option Ultrasound Program Coordinator, at robyn.chambers@fotf.org .

CRITERIA

As you work through the OUP process, a best time for your attendance will be identified by PRC leadership and the OUP team.

All timelines will be determined and confirmed by the OUP Team

All Pregnancy Medical Clinics in the Option Ultrasound Program provide limited obstetrical ultrasound as medically indicated. Clinics are licensed to operate under the supervision of a physician, using only trained sonographers. Focus on the Family does not endorse the use of ultrasound outside of a medical clinic setting and does not endorse the use of ultrasound for non-medical reasons. Patient referrals are made to physicians for follow-up diagnosis and care as needed.
