Greetings from Focus on the Family! A new season in our movement brings many opportunities to trust the Lord in new ways, as well as enjoy His continued blessings in proven ones. Many pregnancy centers have converted into medical clinics over the past few years; they are being very effective in helping protect women’s health and empowering many young women to choose life for their preborn babies!

We are seeing great outcomes through the Option Ultrasound™ Program (OUP), which is strengthening and equipping pregnancy medical clinics (PMCs) across the U.S. I know that your heart and purpose is to truly serve the at-risk women in your community in order to stop abortion. Research has shown that when women have access to ultrasound, it dramatically increases the number of those who choose life. When combined with the counseling they receive, 90% of women at risk for abortion leave PMCs with intentions of carrying their babies to term. We want to help your ministry to reach and serve many more abortion-risk women!

That's what OUP is all about: to better equip your center to function as a medical clinic offering ultrasound services. The first step is to apply for OUP. (For the entire OUP process, access our Funding Wheel here.) We've made exciting changes this past year, and would love to share them with you. As you advance through the process, you will be invited to attend an upcoming Regional Information Meeting (RIM) through your OUP Site Representative. The meeting will provide vital information on:

• How to use the OUP process to advance your entire ministry


• Financial development for success and effectiveness


• How an effective board is essential to help your PRC succeed


• Why ultrasound services are so successful


• How to increase client outcomes


• Organizational health and development


• Grants available - ultrasound machines, sonography trainings and medical conversion

The CEO/Executive Director and one board member will need to attend a Regional Information Meeting in order to meet OUP requirements. Once you get there – most of the cost is on us!

There is no registration fee, and Focus on the Family will pay for 2 nights of your hotel stay for two people and lunch on the first day. Day one is our all-day board training and will be held from 9:00am – 5:00pm. The second day will include the specifics of the Option Ultrasound Program and operational trainings. It will begin at 9:00am and conclude by 3:00. Please plan on attending the full RIM.

IMPORTANT: Please RSVP at least two weeks prior to the event!! (Do not call the hotel directly; all reservations must be made through Carolyn or Robyn at Focus on the Family.)
