Formerly the director of a large abortion clinic in New York City, Dr. Nathanson personally performed thousands of abortions. In the late 1970s, however, he had a change of heart and became a staunch opponent of abortion. Listen to his warning that abandoning the sanctity of human life ethic will lead to "euthanasia parlors" or "thanatoria" to kill the unwanted at the other end of the life spectrum.
