Many pregnant and sexually active women arrive at LifeChoices Medical Clinic and Resource Center in Joplin, Mo., with conflicting thoughts about life — its value and worth — and wanting the facts necessary to make an informed medical choice. The center offers them ultrasound imaging and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI).
"Option Ultrasound provides the foundation for our medical credibility," said Karolyn Schrage, R.N., executive director of the center. "The visible flicker of a tiny heartbeat on the ultrasound reveals the uncompromised truth of life." Schrage said nine out of 10 "abortion-vulnerable" clients choose life when they've seen their preborn child.
