The Option Ultrasound Program dramatically changed our ability to offer life-affirming options to at-risk women in greater numbers, with more positive results, than we ever dreamed possible.
In 2006, prior to our medical conversion, Life Choices saw only 104 abortion-minded/vulnerable women, with only 34 (33%) making life-affirming decisions. Since our conversion in January 2007, 835 at-risk clients have received an ultrasound, with 598 (72%) making life-affirming decisions!
Our heightened awareness of the needs of at-risk women and our greater ability to meet those needs has propelled our ministry light-years ahead in changing and saving lives. I know that literally hundreds of babies are alive today in our community because the miracle technology of ultrasound is being used at Life Choices to reveal unborn life in a safe environment designed to meet a young mom at the most critical point of her need.
OUP gave new life to our ministry's position as a leader in women's reproductive health issues and a credible referral resource for our community. The OUP team has been there every step of the way, encouraging and challenging us to continue to learn and provide a standard of excellence unparalleled in our community.
