How African Organizations Can Apply for Benevolent Resources

Focus on the Family® lives out its commitment to the Sanctity of Human Life by providing educational resources free of charge to organizations that counsel and educate pregnant women who are at-risk for abortion.

Our goal is to provide resources that are grounded in a Biblical perspective of respect for life and the Author of life, materials that are professionally researched and documented by objective, and medically-accurate sources that are unbiased by political concerns.

To receive benevolent resources, your organization must be one of the following:

• Pregnancy Resource Centre (PRC) that administers free pregnancy tests and counsels clients who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or who are considering abortion.
• Pregnancy Medical Clinic (PMC) that provides the services of a PRC as well as free ultrasound services and/or medical care under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
• Maternity Home that provides supportive residential services for women who have chosen to carry their baby to term.

What Do We Receive?

• Approved organizations receive $500 in resources per calendar year. Note: If your organization has more than one site, each site is eligible to apply for its own resources.

How Do We Apply?
Focus on the Family South Africa has requested that all African PRCs, PMCs and Maternity Homes wishing to receive benevolent resources first register with Africa Cares for Life. You must only complete this application process once.

• Download the simple application form for African organizations.
• Type in your answers, then print it out and sign it. (Please, no handwritten forms) You may wish to download the application form and save it to your computer for your records.
• Write a letter using your organization's letterhead requesting to be added to our benevolent resource data base, including a couple of sentences about the services you offer.
• Submit your completed application and letter to Africa Cares for Life, using the address or fax number on the application form.
• Africa Cares for Life will confirm that you are registered with them and will submit your application to Focus on the Family USA.

You'll receive an email from Focus on the Family USA telling you when you've been approved for benevolent resources and then you may go online to order your resources.

If your organization has already been approved for benevolent resources through Africa Cares for Life and Focus on the Family, go directly to our online order form. (All orders will now be done online. You may no longer use a mailed-in paper order form.)
