How to Help Your Local Pregnancy Resource Center

Consider volunteering at your local crisis pregnancy center! CPC's, also called Pregnancy Resource Centers, or Pregnancy Help Centers, are on the front lines in most communities, making a practical, loving effort to help women choose life over abortion.
Here is a list of volunteer opportunities available at your local CPC. Of course roles will vary from center to center.

Board Members
Take a position on the board of directors for a term of at least two years. Many skills needed. Monthly meetings and additional hours required.
Caring Fixer
Collect, clean, refurbish and repair baby furnishings. Also pick up and deliver items when needed.
Post-Abortion Recovery Group Leader
Facilitates a post-abortive bible study group 2-3 hours weekly during study. Training required and provided.
Secretarial Assistant
Performs various clerical jobs as needed.
Cleaning
Performs general "household" cleaning of the CPC offices once a month.
Maintenance
Be available to come into the CPC as needed to do general repairs, painting, etc.
Speaker's Bureau
Assists in church and community CPC presentations. Some training required.
Shepherding Home
Host a client needing housing during her pregnancy, short or long term.
