![]() Daneshia
As a single mother of a 6-yrear-old little girl, Daneshia really didn't even want to consider that she might be pregnant again! As she drove through the parking lot, she saw the FREE PREGNANCY TEST sign and decided to stop in and take the test. She knew that if she was pregnant, she could have an abortion. After talking with the counselor for a few minutes, they did the test and Daneshia saw that it was positive. They did an ultrasound, and when she saw her baby's heartbeat, the only thing she could think about was how someday she would have to tell her daughter that her baby brother or sister had been aborted. After she got over the shock of being pregnant, she decided she had to really work hard to prepare for this new member of her little family. During the pregnancy Daneshia developed gestational diabetes and had to change her diet and exercise program to keep it under control. She went from one extreme of thinking she could abort her baby to the other extreme of desperately praying that he would live and that the diabetes would not affect his health. Thank God, Treyvion was born healthy! Daneshia says that Treyvion's father is very good with him and helps out a lot. He picks him up from daycare, spends time with him and keeps him when she needs him to. Daneshia thanks Hope Women's Centers for everything they did to help her and Treyvion. Daneshia visited Hope Women's Centers. More from Florida Faces of Option Ultrasound Index
All Pregnancy Medical Clinics in the Option Ultrasound Program provide limited obstetrical ultrasound as medically indicated. Clinics are licensed to operate under the supervision of a physician, using only trained sonographers.
