You are looking at a precious little guy who, but for the fact that his mother chose to come to Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Clinic of Casper, would most likely have been another victim of abortion. The only evidence he ever existed would have been an ultrasound picture in his mother's chart — locked away in our clinic's filing cabinet.

This little guy's mother, who we will call Gabrielle*, was confused and afraid. She felt she did not have the support and resources she needed to have this baby. When she considered her finances and living conditions, she thought abortion was the best choice she could make.

All that changed when she made an appointment at Care Net and was introduced to her pre-born child for the very first time through the technological wonder of ultrasound. The image of her tiny son moving inside of her — he even stuck his tongue out — brought tears to her eyes and made his presence very real to her. She met her boyfriend at a local restaurant after leaving our clinic. The picture of their baby was still fresh in her mind as they talked about all of their options.

Care Net Pregnancy and Resource Clinic of Casper provided this mother with evidence she could not deny or simply forget. We also provided the support she needed to make another choice — a choice to continue her pregnancy, a choice for life. Her fear was transformed into confidence and the need for an abortion melted away.

Our staff had the opportunity to hold Gabrielle's sweet baby, Michael*, in our arms recently. Our hearts were filled with thankful praise that his mother chose to come to us first and that the Lord allowed us to be a part of saving this little life.
