I had just moved from another state when I realized I may be pregnant. I went to Care Net Women's Clinic for a verification of pregnancy but knew I would choose abortion. I was an addict and concerned about the health of my pregnancy.

The nurse read my test as positive and recommended I have an ultrasound for confirmation. The most amazing thing was that my baby's hand seemed to press on the screen and wave at me! The experience of ultrasound totally changed my mind from being determined to have an abortion to carrying my baby to term.

On February 13, 2007, I gave birth to a 6 pound, 3 ounce, 18 ½ inches baby girl, named Aariah Nicole.

Having my daughter turned my life around 180 degrees in a very positive way. I stopped using drugs during my pregnancy, which then enabled me to regain custody of my first child, my son. I am grateful for the opportunity to utilize the services offered at Care Net Women's Clinic.
