Paige came to Birth Choice in Oklahoma City and was adamant about having an abortion. Her counselor discussed with her the beauty of her baby's development and the value of human life. But she refused to believe what she was being told and accused the counselor of lying to her. "It's not true that the baby can suck its thumb! How could the baby be formed already?"

Her counselor encouraged her to make an appointment for an ultrasound and have her pregnancy confirmed. What did she have to lose? And she would have a chance to prove her counselor wrong, to show her that there was NOT a living human being inside of her.

Paige agreed, and made an ultrasound appointment at one of Birth Choice's other clinics. The RN who did the ultrasound knew nothing of the earlier conversation with her counselor, but God was ready to answer Paige's questions and to reveal the truth to her. Can you guess what Paige saw in that first image on the screen? Her innocent baby was sucking its thumb! She could not deny what she saw with her own eyes, and both she and her baby were spared from abortion's destructive power.

All Pregnancy Medical Clinics in the Option Ultrasound Program provide limited obstetrical ultrasound as medically indicated. Clinics are licensed to operate under the supervision of a physician, using only trained sonographers. Patient referrals are made to physicians for follow-up diagnosis and care as needed.
