Focus on the Family's I.M.P.A.C.T. training was phenomenal! We haven't stopped talking about it. I am almost through reading Good to Great, and I feel like, as a ministry, we have a whole new lease on life. My only regret is that I didn't have more board members there.

The practical nature of the teaching, and the hands-on applications really set it apart from any other training I have participated in. I have been working on classifying our donors into the Core/Major/Mega categories and making pretty pie charts that detail where we need to do some pointed development work.

Regarding client statistics, below you can see the bar graph I made, comparing January-April 2006 and January – April 2007. It shows we are moving in the right direction, I think. The thing I learned at I.M.P.A.C.T. was that even though we are doing better than the national average, we aren't anywhere near where we should be, considering our location. We have a lot of work to do to reach our target client more effectively.

Clinics are licensed to operate under the supervision of a physician, using only trained sonographers. Focus on the Family does not endorse the use of ultrasound outside of a medical clinic setting and does not endorse the use of ultrasound for non-medical reasons. Patient referrals are made to physicians for follow-up diagnosis and care as needed.
